How to Save Money on Your Wedding

As we all know, it will be a big money to hold a wedding ceremony, and there are so many things you should take in mind if you don't want to break your bank. Then how to save money on your wedding? If you have no idea, don't worry, below are the suggestions you may need for the big day.

Making Use Of Available Help: You likely have several friends and family members who are more than willing to help you with your big day. In order to have your dream wedding without breaking the bank, take advantage of the help offered to you during this time. Delegate various jobs to those who can handle them best. If you have a very crafty friend, for instance, enlist her help in creating wedding favors or decorating the venue.

Be Clear On The Must-Haves: Decide which parts of your dream wedding you’re absolutely not willing to change. These are your “must-haves” and should be put into your budget before anything else. If you want 200 guests and aren’t willing to compromise on that number, you might decide to cut down on the flowers for the wedding in order to make room in the budget for the guest list. Deciding what’s important will also clue you in to things that aren’t so important; feel free to strike these from your list of wedding stuff and put that money toward other things you actually want.

Paring The Bridal Party: Having a large bridal party can dramatically drive up the cost of your wedding. If your dream wedding is more about beautiful flowers and an outstanding venue than it is about each of your eight cousins being a bridesmaid, simply choose a very small bridal party and put more of your budget toward things that matter more to you.

Paring The Guest List: While it can be exceptionally difficult to cut your guest list (especially if you have a very large family), it’s one of the most surefire ways to cut your costs and save money for more important aspects of your dream wedding. Even cutting just 10 guests can result in thousands of dollars in savings, so think carefully about inviting all those second and third cousins you haven’t seen in years.

Booking The Entertainment: At your reception, everyone will want to dance to their favorite songs, but no one cares to dance to some mediocre band they’ve never heard of. If you hire a DJ, the songs played will be by the original artists and no one will be disgruntled because your band choice totally slaughtered their favorite songs. DJs are usually much cheaper than live bands, too.
